旅記|巴黎 FOUNDATION LOUIS VUITTON
Updated: Jul 3, 2021
A little away from the central Paris.
I visited the Foundation Louis Vuitton last October in 2019.
If this is your second or third time visiting Paris, you might want to start exploring some others places rather than the Musée du Louvre or Musée d'Orsay, etc. I found myself getting more relaxed when I was there, as the building itself is surrounded by gardens with plenty of sitting places, so you could really get a little away from crowds.
The Foundation Louis Vuitton Museum is on the west side of Paris. The building itself, created by Frank Gehry, is worth a trip on its own. In my memory, I've seen some of Gehry's buildings before, however, I think this was my first time seeing a stand alone construct like this. If you're inside the building, make sure you go to the roof terrace. It offers you amazing and unique Paris views from the top, as well as delicate architectures you can look around and explore.
I'd suggest you order tickets online in advance (timed entry - good idea to buy ahead for popular exhibits), as I've been queuing for quite a while to get in last time!
